What is DTG Printing?

DTG stands for Direct to Garment — a printing method where industrial inkjet printers spray water-based ink directly into fabric fibers. Unlike screen printing which lays ink on the surface, DTG ink is absorbed into the fabric, creating a print with zero texture that moves naturally with the garment.

DTG vs Screen Print vs DTF

Screen printing is great for bold, limited-color designs (1-4 colors). DTF (Direct to Film) creates a plastic-feeling transfer. DTG offers unlimited colors with a soft hand-feel — you can't feel the print at all. It's ideal for complex, multi-color graphics and photographic designs.

When We Use DTG

We use DTG for complex sleeve prints, all-over graphics, and designs where soft hand-feel matters most. It's applied using Kornit or Epson industrial DTG printers on pre-treated heavyweight cotton for maximum color vibrancy and wash durability.
